Here is a water find I got last summer with my Excalibur in four feet of water in a favorite swimming area here in Northern California.
It is a 1922 50 Peso gold coin with 37.5 grams of pure gold, an 18k gold bezel, 7.3 grams and the chain is 14k gold, 41.3 grams.

tat2ed     ONLY one foot (I wish) down from 16 ft. in the front to 10 ft. in just over 2 weeks.  It's coming but to slow for this month I'm hoping for next month with far better equipment than I have a present.  Got this great pin pointer here and ordered 2 brand new detectors should be here late next week so we can practice some before entering next month but have to keep up post score to do so.

Snow would be lovely down here, we have seen week upon week of rain, a day or two of sun to bring up the humidity and another week of rain, well at least the ground (mud) is soft. I read somewhere that detecting after rain when the ground is moist and at or just after a full moon is the best time to swing the coil.

So I can't complain as conditions are, perfect?

Well here goes tonight while walking the dog with no detector I came across this in the snow.  I hope to get it back to it's original owner.  It's amazing what comes out of the snow in the early spring this is by far the strangest for me all I saw was the black end of the handle sticking out of the snow hows that for depth.  54 1/2 inch overall no other place to display so the double 20 was the start.  not a real find but with 10 ft. of snow and no new detectors yet this is what it is a find none the less
