Tubes still have their uses in this digital age. Some of my mic pre-amps use tubes...makes for a warmer sound.

We live in an EMP environment with nasa claiming sun storms a threat (chuckles). I'm wondering about a faraday cage. Who recommends it being grounded? If I bury a trash can (typical galvanized) can I expect things in it to work if they are wrapped in mylar, then plastic? We live in uncertain times...an EMP threat should be all over our TV. Alas....I dont own a TV, havent in years. Maybe I'm just old fashioned? I certainly can afford one. It's just my choice. I guess I'm just a backwoods hick, or a well informed geek? Amish mafia rulez in the end bitchez lmao.
