@ Bubby Joe yea your right I should have kept my mouth shut lol, Gympie is suffering a major flood event at the moment. Wish I could get there when the water recedes, as you may possibly know Gympie was one of Queenslands Major goldfields, and I'm sitting here thinking there would have to be gold being washed down the gullies, with the flood water. My area suffered the Massive floods last year ( Toowoomba )My wife refused to drive into what i thought was reasonably shallow water across the road, which saved our lives. I had gotten out of our car to tell the guy behind us to back his 4x4 up so we could turn round as I was doing that I heard a deafening sound, turned to look and there was a 10 metre ( 30 foot) wall of water, roaring by us. If she had driven forward like I told her to, we would have been washed away in the tsunami. It's unbelievable that here on top of a mountain range that so much water could just come from nowhere. But again I wonder how much gold was washed down the gullies of the great dividing range.
