Short Best Finds Contest!

I hope these are to late to post but i have been having trouble logging into site, i went out for a shortwhile this morning and had to return home because I was literally shaking. all i could make out on the coin in this pic is the number 18, which turns out to be 1832. it is the oldest thing I have found to date. I found it about 6 inches down at the farm site from yesterday. we are in different timezones, so if it falls out of contest date then that's my bad luck. I cannot identify what it is but it appears to be rose gold on one side it has a set of balance scales i have been able to distinguish the word "company" on the right hand side and the date 1832 on the bottom I have been at it gently with a cloth polishing wheel and jewellers rouge for an hour or so as the entire thing almost was completely black and at first i nearly chucked it on the discard pile also found about six feet away and about the same depth is a small brass silver plated vespa ( match case ) the side with the date on it has the English coat of arms i believe on the left of a shield is a rampant lion and on the other side of the shield is a Unicorn there is a penant on either side of shield, and what appears to be a knight helmet ( possibly ) which appears to be facing to the left however it is very worn and details are very hard to distinguish. however the word company and the date 1832 are quite clear. this coin well and truly predates the issue of coins in Australia (1910 )

Alright heres the deal... No more than participated, I've chosen to send all four members who did participate (even buddy-joe for trying) a pin pointer. Poptop, Gozzo, Scubasteve and buddy-joe, pm me your addresses. I will send those in the states this coming week. Gozzo and buddy-joe...you'll need to send the funds to me for mailing after I have checked the cost of shipping once I have received your addresses. (your currency will be fine perfer US) I realize the weather played a roll in the short contest. Maybe we'll do it again in the spring? If anyone has an idea for a contest, speak up!

 Thanks heaps, no more scambling round, I am so stoked, for once im lost for words, which is unusual for me, as anyone who has read one of my post's would know ROFL  : I am just a humble pensioner, which is why all my gear is so old, and the reason  I have the time to research. Buying a pinpointer has been something i have wanted to do but so far couldn't afford.
