Only one identifying mark: "CHAMPION"
Well known for their Cast Iron toys.

Well we're waiting. The only thing holding you back is you.
Note: "Die Cast" should not be held as meaning that it has to be made from Metals.
Die cast "Plastic toys" have been made since mid WWII, and to some extent "Glass". I know, I have some.

Well, I have not been able to post with pics. It seems that there is a problem with the server. As soon as it gets resolved I will post all the toy cars I've found so far.

You know what, it occurred to me that these toys, buried for so many years should have collectible value. I mean, buried artifacts found from old cultures are considered valuable, regardless of the condition, just for being a representation of whatever culture and era. I feel there should be a market to be discovered for artifacts (not limited only to toys) dug or recovered from the ground. Let's take for example, your WWWI toy truck, although rusty, it is still a pleasant representation of the time, not likely or easily found around. I'm sure die cast collectors might be interested in this kind of collectibles, dug collectibles that is. I know it happens with bottles, why not with other things as well.  Teach

CB,
There are some collectors who specialize in re-conditioning
old toys whether it be Hotwheels or any others.
My old rusty truck is, to some extent, restorable.
Some of the old toys don't need much at all.
Some just need a little TLC.
And yes, there is a market. Albeit isolated peoples, they are out there.
Most people such as my self really don't want to let them go.
