Go Up Go Down

Found these two guys at the Lamar dump site.
The one on the right has on a gas mask.
They both have on Dough Boy Helmets.
The one on the left appears to have been part of a set
and he hung on to something.
We find these with some regularity but not often.
I've never found one that was not damaged.
Maybe that is why they were in the dump.....hummm, I guess that does make since. :Smiley

Those Puppies are old.

Showing the Gas Mask, I would be thinking WWI.

Not much gas used in WWII exept in chambers.  Sad, Sad.

Cool Finds for sure.    Great

Go Up Go Down

I'd go with pre-WWII, not so much because of the no gas mask (heck gas or no gas, they still train for it and still carry masks---at least they did in the 70's) as because of the wound leggings on the the one on the left.  I'd say 1920's to early 1930's.

(When I first saw them, I thought of Laurel and Hardy  Smiley )
