I originally placed this pic in the "Dump dig" post but felt it more appropriate to post it here.
Found at the Lamar site sat 1/8/11.
The race car was a cool find but I like finding the Lead toys just as much or more.
I found a lead dog as well but it was just too toasty.

Your Welcome, I ordered the toys and Antiques books now thinking about ordering one for the glass bottles etc. i like having the hard copy to take with for yard sales and antique shops etc. that way i can always check to see if something is as valuable as people think it is or if its under valued.

Love seeing lead toys.  Our kids cannot even drink out of the garden hose without CPS being called.

Yes. How did we ever survive without elbow pads, knee pads and helmets. See-saws are banned in Australia. Throw a piece of wood over a fulcrum and get arrested. Can't own a sling shot here either.

Somehow, I managed to grow up and raise 6 kids without worrying at all about those things.

No wonder kids have such a poor understanding of classical physics.    When we were kids, our teachers frequently used illustrations from the play ground to explain different concepts.
