It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Gone for Narvik yet?
I might put you in direction of some nice info about diving up here, but please tell me a little about what kind of diving you are planning. No-deco, Nitrox, deep-air, mixed-gas?

Some (most?) of the wrecks in Narvik havn has been restricted for diving, because of several accidents during the years.

But there are still alot of wrecks to explore up here in Norway.

Send me an PM, and I'll put you in contact with some local divers around Narvik.

Hi,
I was in Narvik a few months ago, it was great. Thx for the offer but we are already returned to Belgium. We dove with the "Galten" in the harbor of Narvik. The temperature was 6°C. Dry suit and dry gloves!
I dove the redo rebreather with Nitrox.
We did the wrecks in the bay. We did the MS Stråssa, Wilhelm Heidkamp, Anton Schmitt, SS Romanby, SS Neuenfels and the MS Martrha Heinrich Fisser. Great wrecks, great diving and... unusual for us no nights...:-)
When I make plans to return over there I let you know.
grtz,
eddy
