I have given montemike a warning. Personal attacks are not tolerated. Nobody is to be attacked on these boards for his nationality, religion etc. Also as this is an international forum we really do not pay any attention to possible typos, misspelling etc. Everybody is welcome to write here no matter to what his control of English is.

Gooday, I'm new to this forum, but I've been successful because of dowsing.  First I'll read about some lost treasure and then check maps to see how close it is.  I map dowse first to see if the treasure has been found or if it's still there.  Then pick a day to go to the site.  I have a Fisher 3 two-box that is very sensitive to all metals as well as ore bodies as small as an inch thick.
I've found caches of old paper money and no metal around so the only tool you could use were dowsing rods.  Why LIMIT yourself.  Looking at other responses I would say that its all what you believe.  If you think it works, it will work for you.  If you think its all imaginary, you're right again.  But a good way to find out would be to read every book written on the subject, I've found 23 at my library.  Even the opinions of the authors very, except for the main points.  Research is 90% of any treasure hunt.
     Good Hunting out there!

Hello Bhunter,

thanks for your posting. I would be happy to hear more about your dowsing expirience and techniques. What sort of maps and pendulums do you use?

Regards,

Christian

I like to go the Fish and Game Department of Utah where they sell the official topo maps.  For pendulums, I'll suspend from a cotton string about 4" to 5" long, a paper clip, a metal nut, islet screw, really anything handy but small.  A friend uses a .45 cal bullet.  Use your imagination and have fun.  I did recently buy one from "Research Unlimited" for $6.00 its nice but I've misplaced it.  Yea I'm gonna have to dowse for the pendulum.
     Hope this helps.
May the Force be with you.
        Bhunter.

bhunter;

I was always told, by map dowsers, to use a piece of what you are looking for. This is reasonable, but maybe it works for them, because they expect it.... I bet the guy that used the bullet didnt find bullets, OR lead.

The chicken industry used to, and probably still does, use dowsing to select egg sex, of fertile chicken eggs, with a better than 90  percent success rate, that says something.... hatcheries have been using it for a long time. I dont expect they used a piece of chicken, either. Shocked

I do not care if it works or not.

Hows that?

I can say that there are utility
locaters in this state that use
dowsin to locate utilities.

Does it work?

I guess. How should I know?
They have been doin it as long
as I can remember.

I do not like the name callin and
childish behavior.

Some nice folks took a hit. That
aint how it should be guys.

HH,

Tabdog
