well; Some of the dowsers around here, can tell you how deep the uderground stream is by bounces a spoon makes over the area, The amount of bounces would indicate the depth of the water.

it doesn't have to be a spoon, unless that's what you're comfortable with.   Counting the bounces of the forked stick is how my wife used to detemine water depth when she'd go out water-witching with her grandpa in the early 60's.

Hi Florin , these rods are hand held for dowsing. That's what this topic is about.
You can do a serch on this forum to find out about LRLs, Im not sure a LRL will be any beter than dowsing by hand!

Dowsing rods are conected to the user, simply by the hands. You could try google serch for dowsing rods for more info. You could also try to find a dowser in your area for instruction/ demo of dowsing, with rods.

Go Up Go Down

Hi I am new in the forum and i enjoy dowsing, and the rods I use are copper and they work well. at times they move back and forth like a clock mechanism tick tack, well I  use a single one to lacate an atraction  first, than I move ten ft  to left or right and locate the araction or object again, by doing this it will give me an idea how far the atraction is( like a triangle)  than i walk straigth toawrds the atraction with  a rod in each hand and they will cross when on top of the attraction if I keep on going the rods will open up again. if the attraction is metal the detector will letme know, if not I find another attraction, I learned then when the rods are making a tick tack motion I believe its water I have corroborate it in a couple of occations.

Another possibility is that you are getting a signal of a target that is too deep for your detector to locate
  Cool
