Do you think it works to find treasure with a help of a pendulum? Does one need a map or a picture? Is there anybody who has really found treasure doing this way? I look forward to your expirience!

I don't believe that any body found any treasure by just using a pendulum! Dowsing rods may get inline with gravitational magnetic field which may be altered by the existance of a cavity or a significant body underground (that could be water or anything else), or following the fluctuations of your hand grip. But you can't tell what is it!!!, right?

I use Dowsing as an aid in my searches all the time. In my opinion, a  Dowsed location can be a good starting point for a Treasure, or shipwreck search.    Dell

Dowsing absolutely works by some manner. The mechanism is not understood or very controlled. I have seen successful dowsers ply their trade from locating water to bringing in oil wells for large corporations. I have tried since the early 70s to learn, but still fall short. Smiley

IDEOMOTOR RESPONSE: Whether you use the Rods for a physics application, or a pendulum for a mental application, a trained Ideomoter response is a prerequisite.

In a Physics application using rods as a metering tool, the mind/muscle ideomotor control has to be trained to control and maintain the position of the rods while, walking, on the side of an incline, in rough terrain, against the wind, etc, etc, and trained to release physical muscle control when the rods encounter the emanating "field" of a selected target to allow them to cross.

In my experience, a pair of hand held copper, or brass rods, will indeed react to concentrated magnetic "fields" if allowed to do so. Strength of field comparisons with Magnetometers have shown this. The strength of a Dowsers  muscles are thousands  of times stronger than the weak magnetic "fields" detected and metered with the Rods, so a novice can easily override the Target  emanating "field', with muscle power.

In a Mental application (true Dowsing) a trained  mind/muscle ideomotor response is absolutely necessary to move the Rods, or pendulum. The stronger the muscle response, the greater the movement.

It all depends on the application the dowser is using, mental, or physical, that obtains Rod reactions  accordingly.  The accurate interpretation of the reaction of the rods, is different, according to the application being used.   Dell
