How well does map dowsing work? If you knew of an area known to hold
a cache,How accurate is it (the dowsing)? And how successful can you
be.

After reading about a lost treasure thats close to home, within 200 miles. lol  I'll map dowse to see if the treasure is still there.  And if it is, I'll buy the detailed topo map.  Next I divide the map in half and check which half its in, then keep halving until I get to the tiny square.  Then you feed your GPS the coordinates and pick a day to head on out.  The only time I didn't find what I was looking for I found this dark greyish clay that looks alot like platinum...  The 2 box picked up on it as an ore.   I've found it to be accurate as far as you believe it to be.  If you have doubts then it won't be very accurate.  You just need to practice alot around your house.  Have someone hide a silver dollar either outside or inside.  Then just practice.  There are some good dowsing books to read also.
