Believe it or not, I just downloaded an app for my Android phone. It turns your phone into a metal detector. Actually it uses one of the sensors in your phone to detect electromagnetic fields. It actually detects metals (up very close) I use it for laughs and leading gullible people astray before I tell them the truth. Google Play Smart Tools co. Search metal detector app. What a riot

A bad day at gold prospecting or metal detecting is better than a good day at work.

Yall are wasting your time with the IPhone thing.    If you want to get down to The Stuff, for a Meur, $3000.00  I will hand build you a Wish Stick 2014.    Here is a 2009, note the Analog Meter.   With Up Graded Digital Meter there Purported to be 20 times better.

Now yours will not look the same as this one because no two forks of a branch grow the same but You will have a Timex  Digital meter and Super Hetrodyned Coil on the Quarts Crystal of MY Choice as per Your Hunting Style.

Extra Battery Packs are only $7.99 and Chargers $9.99!

I Guarantee you will find what ever you step on and are not to Drunk to notice with these machines.

Just what I am looking for! Not only will I find all the gold I have been dreaming about, but I can use it as a slingshot to ward of bears, or to toast marshmallows over the campfire. Maybe I can attach my Galaxy S5 to it too. Laughing Laughing
