Never built one but have the book. Instructions say to keep your elbows tucked in and hold the rod so it is straight up and balanced. Then you have to develop your own protocol.

I don't think it is that easy to learn any dowsing equipment. You have to learn to FEEL the subtle energies and stay emotionally detached from the outcome. That's pretty much impossible for anyone who doesn't maintain a positive attitude. And remember you must do all this without consciously thinking about it, without CONTROLLING it. That takes a huge amount of practice. But it can be done.

(you must do all this without consciously thinking about it, without CONTROLLING it)

tsk..tsk..tsk.. how could it be done? someone holds the antenna? you cannot hold the antenna w/out consciously thinking about it,

you said without controlling it. then what is the purpose of the antenna? it will not move without controlling it.

maybe all of this will be done if you inject in to your self 50ml of heroine.

Yes, there are different ways to sense things besides the five known senses.

yes, aside from human senses you can use different sensing machines. why forcing to use another human sense? to evade expenses? maybe this is the main reason.

Not trying to change the subject too much here, there are a few of the acupuncture meridians that run right alongside some of the nerves. It is claimed probably at the "divine spark" each person has something like a matrix of these meridians along which the organs, etc. are formed. Personally I can feel a frequency within my pulse--right as the heart is pumping. I've read about this cardio-vascular system having some sort of resonance, don't know if this is the same thing I experience, but I did read an article about how some people can't feel with their regular nervous system and learned to rely on this form of sensing.

But back to the rod, I saw someone had a piece of welding rod with a small weight on the end they held it straight up and used it something like a pendulum.

Here is one that I made with a few modifications, the only thing it is good for is a conversation piece !!!
I've been dowsing for about 15 years with pretty good sucess, so I am familiar with tecniques, mind set, etc.
Think I'll stick to dowsing rods, (and metal detecting of course)

Yes, there are different ways to sense things besides the five known senses.

Greetings Brian and everyone,

This is certainly a very old post but I have searched everywhere on the web including Google books, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, eBay and no one seems to have this book available... All I have find out is the name Practical Guide to the Lecher Antenna : "The Graduated Divining Rod", published in English in 2005, wrote by  Anne Landry, Pierre Noreau.  It seems most available information available online is on French and most practitioners are either in France, England or India. I found a French website that poorly explain how to make it (probably because Google is translating the text incorrectly) so I am very eager to find plans on how to make it and I was wondering Brian if you could share a scan of your book!

I never had such a hard time finding anything on the web as this material!  Also, I see a pic in here of a wooden Lecher Antenna and I was wondering if anyone can tell me if it works as well and the metallic base, also, can the wooded one have that attachment that goes to the body with some sort of a wire.

If anyone could please help me get information regarding how to make and use a LECHER ANTENNA I would be very grateful!

Thank you for reading my post,

Jordan
