Hey Christian ...It is in the USA....Spent the winter working on new methods and learning what my new equipment was telling me. Looking over my maps and research I found that those old-timers were good at placing markers and leaving signs that would send you the wrong way. Thought it would be fun to see if anyone else locates any gold on the map....Art

Welcome back Art.

Congratulations on your find. It looks to me like you have located the loot from a bank robbery, circa 1856.

I'm picking up 9 or possibly 10 boxes of U.S. minted Gold Bars & British Gold coins. Several of boxes are outside the view of the photograph.

There also appears to be 4 containers of U.S paper currency with a total face value of about $40,000.

In addition there are several small caches buried in the area as a reward to some of the Robbers involved.

Good work, Art.    Dell

Thanks Dell....Learning which clue's to follow is the key...Spent some time wandering around in a cave system to find a Hamm's beer can...Some one got there first..Not making any money yet but Treasure Hunting is a fun thing to do....Art

Thanks for the reply dowserbill...I have found that the maps of this area are all bad. This one is from Google Earth and is not to clear. This area on the DeLorme Topo Maps is 1 mile off when using GPS readings...Art
