If you want photos to dowse, just have someone hide a target in your backyard and take a few photos of the area. Or you can hide the target yourself and take some photos. Close/cover your eyes, cover your ears, hum, and spin around a few times, toss the target, then spin a few more times. This works better if your lawn hasn't been mown for a while or you have a bunch of leaves covering the area. And as an added bonus, you can dowse for the target with a rod or MFD locator after you dowsed the photos. Be careful and don't throw it out of your yard if you have a valuable target (aim low).

To be a bit more specific, I cover my right ear and my eyes and plug my left ear all with my right arm and hand. Then I spin to my left and toss the target with my left hand down low and behind me. This is the way I practice without photos.
