Dell; considering the granularity, scale, of the map or photo is something I had not considered. It also shines a little light on the map dowsing interface. The subconscious already knows the exact location, but the conscious mind needs words or mental images to communicate. So then, the dowsing bob is a crutch we use to to get physical input from a device/system that has information stored in a associative pool of knowledge. The device/system itself has no being or awareness, just a vast store of interrelated knowledge. The systematized routine you have described is the frame-work or coding system between it and you. So as a beginner one of the first things I would need to do is make a simple coding system as a pathway of communication. I am just guessing, but I would think this would have to be on a one to one level in a personal manner as we are all the same, but different in our level of awareness.

That is pretty much the way I view Dowsing. I can't say that the sub-conscious already knows locations & Information, but as a part of our  biological computer (Brain) it's much  like the mechanical computer in front of you with access to all the information the Internet. We as humans, appear to be able access information from the past. Dowsing is one method. But, without practice, effort, and  some understanding, It's like searching the archives of a giant library for knowledge and information without knowing where to look, or the language they were written in.

It usually takes repetition to establish a workable code language with the sub-conscious. Our sub-conscious appears to accept conscious input very literally, and child like. I have to be very careful  how I word, and phrase questions.

Like any computer if you enter wrong information, it returns wrong information. For example, if you say , that's cool, meaning it's good, the sub-conscious might accept it as a measurement of temperature, rather than something "good" as you intended.

Example: If I call someone's office and the secretary answers, the usual protocol is, " May I speak to Mr.Donovan?" and the secretary replies,  "May I say who is calling"? and I will answer, "Dell Winders". The secretary notifies Mr. Donovan, that Dell Winders, is on the line, Mr. Donovan, picks up the phone and we have our conversation.

The question asked by the secretary was, "May I say who is calling"? and to the sub-conscious, I gave the wrong answer by stating, Dell Winders.  The correct answer to the question asked  would be either, "Yes" or "No".

So be aware of this when learning the ability to consciously communicate between the conscious, and sub-conscious part of your biological computer (brain).   Dell
