 Welcome from Arizona.
Personally I have absolutely NO use for "long range locators", I'd rather rely on old fashioned dowsers for long range searching and I'm especially sure about those either especially not when compared to the results of old fashioned research and common sense.  But if you check the postings on our Long Range board, you may find someone with answers more to your liking.

From here, go up to the top of the page and select "Board Index".   Then scroll down the page past "Our Community", "Find Boards", "Metal Detecting",  "Treasure Hunting", "Research and Techniques" and "Tech Talk".  That will bring you to "Long Range" which has two Boards, "Black Box" and " Dowsing".  Long Range detectors are usually discussed in "Black Box" (if you read the previous posts there, you'll probably figure out why), but they could also appear in "Dowsing"
