Go Up Go Down

Hi! i use my dowsing rods to narrow down the areas and then use a detector. i have just started in a new area and 3 times now i have had my dowsing rods "bump". It is like when you drive over a speed bump. i have used the detector on this areas but have turned up nothing.  Any ideas? Could it be a large deposit that is too deep to detect??

How about to dig a few feet down where your getting a signal. Then try with the detector again.

Hi! Thanks mate but have tried that. dug down about 2 foot. It is really weird. it was like a small zap with an electric fence. The problem is that i can detect small particles of gold about 50 metres away but i don't know how far down it sends a signal. the most i have had to dig down with the rods is about 2 feet. when i am detecting metal and hot rocks, the rods bounce up and down and tell me how deep they,  a bounce for every foot..
thanks anyway. i am going to try using heavier rods.

LOL!   I know you all have some kinda critter that borrows.

Do you Really expect someone to believe you can  detect small particles of gold about 50 metres away ?

Dude, if you can do that what are you doing messing around with all this other stuff.

Go get the Gold.

Mining Out fits would pay you big bucks to show them around.    LOL

Howdy Homefire there are plenty of critters that burrow around in Australia, introduced and native. Rats Mice and Rabbits(introduced), these can reach plague proportions. Then there are the native animals Wombats, Echidna, and platypus. Just to name a few.

Those small particles of gold would have to be in sufficient  amounts  for the big outfits to be interested.

kabbkoom  that the dowsing rods night mare, it a micro mineral  just like a hot rock with a MD.   if you walking slow when the rod first cross, mark that spot swing rod back in front of you and walk slow it should cross again,do the same thing again when it cross the 3 time mark  it to ......the center will be dig spot....the first and last cross are the depth rings ...you can measure the 2 back to center they be the same.........then run your MD over the center if you don't get a beep it be minerals go find another.........it just understanding what your rods are doing.

Thanks okiedowser, good advice. I found what the problem is. When I wAlk tool fast and I go past a signal and it bumps as it locks on . I find  incredulous. Why does it. Work?  I am happy the people can't. believe it. It is proving very profitable. The bigger rods are.great.  but very tiring.
