     I was watching the Military Channel the other morning and the show was about  occult in the Nazi party during the WWII era.  The British war ships were sinking many submarines so Himmler ordered dowsers to use pendulums to locate the areas where the British ships were located.  Submarines were then told to avoid those waters that had the war ships.
    Of course, what Himmler didn't know at the time was that the Allies had broken, to a large degree, the Enigma code and the British knew ahead of time the Nazi plans.  The show didn't indicate the effectiveness of the dowsing program.

Hi Dandequille!! I have not heard of the Military Channel. Is that associated with History Channel per chance? Do you recall the exact name of the show or episode? I'd like to track this down so I could purchase it and watch it myself. I know the nazi's were into all manner of occult stuff, but I never heard any reference like this specifically about dowsing warships.Intriguing!Thanks! Wink

I don't have the Military Channel any more, only the History Channel.  The Military Channel was devoted to military matters.  I don't know why our channel selection no longer has the military channel as I thought it was very informative.

It definitely Was Satan's influence guiding the Nazis. How else could they have killed so many innocent Jewish folks ...even little babies.Some say Holocaust never happened, but it did. My grandpa helped tote those dead bodies...what a waste of life. Maybe the Nazis had some sort of connection to dark arts such as witchcraft or sorcery...who knows? I'm just glad they were defeated in WW2 and the Jews were Liberated from the Nazis Evil intentions for them. PRAISE BE TO GOD!

The nazi's were into a lot of black magic. Hitler was under the influence of a black magician. Black magic is using occult/esoteric laws for evil purposes. There was a secret group within the gestapo who reportedly did a lot dastardly things wrt black magic.

I have been to the Holocaust Museum in Wash DC. It is truly horrible what the Nazi's did in experimenting on the Jews as well as the retards and other people considered genetic defectives. The museum has tons of documentation, films, pictures, experimental records, various medical and special torture paraphernalia that would make your stomach turn.

Hmmmm....okay, I'll play devils advocate since Nazi bashing has been so popular. No one talks about the good things Hitler did?? The autobahn....stellar landscape artwork...I guess that's it.

Hmm, all this talk about the horrible holocaust here in Europe, of course it was bad, but what about the Holocaust wiping out the indians when clearing up the land preparing the land for farmers back in the states, making it the to the perfect "The land of the free" except for the natives.

I read stories about trading dirty / infected blankets from field hospitals, containing bacterias and germs, with the natives to ensure the were infected and sick and would die withouth a fight.

I suppose someone gonna kick my ass after writing this, but i'll just take the risk...

Dowsing was used by GIs in Vietnam to locate boobytraps.
