Go Up Go Down

It's been a long time since I have posted the last time. Sinde I have moved back to Europe I made some nice finds. Among them I found this nice short swiord. I believe it to be a so called Swiss Dagger from the 16th cenury.

HH,

Raider

Were are you?

If I was in Greece or the UK, I would call that a Dirk.

Short sward.

Here if found it would be a given to be spanish .

There the only ones that has stuff like that.

Don't know where ya found it , but it's in Remarkable good shap.

It could be cleaned up and used today. Shocked Shocked

Welcome back Raider , nice find. , I agree with Homefire, It's in remarkable shape for an iron object. It must have been buried in a peat bog to be that well preserved gambol

Krango41, Thanks for the invitation. I would love to but this is the Wife's trip and metal detecting isn't planned in. I've tried to mix the two before and it doesn't work. She doesn't like sitting in the hotel when I'm out in the field but then who would.  Grin
