... I'm not sure how old this one is. Swords are hard to find as they were precious in ancient times. Also it is near impossible to find one in any area but the woods as they get destroyed in farming grounds by the machinery.

It is from Bavaria and I think belonged to a farmer. Likely a so called "Bauernwehr" (Farmers Defense) from the 16th or 17th century.

I was thinking maybe roman, cant remember the name of the sword they carried, the gladiator carried a version of it called a gladius. Dunno
