Not sure this should go here. If it needs to be moved please do so. This past weekend I found a Turkish Mauser dated 1942 at a friends house. It was in need of a good cleaning to say the least. He offered to sell it to me for $100. I snapped it up! After about two hours of cleaning, It turned out to be a G.I. bring back! NO IMPORT MARKS!!!  Shocked These are going for about $300-$400 in very good shape. This one will go very good to excellent! Amazing what a little elbow grease will do!  Grin Sorry no picture. The cammera is dead. No no!

WoW that one even has some decent wood to it.    Good score Sir.

There is only Two Real actions for a REAL hunting rifle.

Pre War Model 70's Winchesters and  Old Mousers like that.

How does the Bore look?

After cleaning, the bore is bright with strong rifling. This thing shoots good too! Grin

Wish I could find a 45-70. Always wanted one.  Cry Just got a Mosin Nagant 91/30 that looks like a new one dated 1942. This thing is beautiful.  Smiley Will post pics on another post soon.
