What you have there is a Sawed Off Shot Gun!

Good for 10 to 20 years.

Most Illegal to posses and carry.

By Law Shot Guns have to be 26" over all in length.

Barrel has to be 18" or over.

Ditch it.

It looks like the 2 shot guns I have but the stock is cut off and the barrel was cut other than that I think thats what you have is a shot gun and not a pistol

Thanks for the info. What the 1914 number in the barrel means? Is it the year of production or a serial number?

Posted on: November 06, 2010, 02:34:11 PM
Yes, most likely. I once throught that out too, but like I said, am not into guns so I was not sure.

The 1914 was the production year. Also it was the year that they sold the company. They were in buisness from 1902-1914 making shotguns from 8 gauge to 12 gauge. I dont know if you have thought about shooting it or not, please dont as our modern ammo would shred the barrel and probabily your hands. if thinking about disposing of it, turn it in to your local PD and let them.

Hi Cyberborikua

OK well I guess that after having read all of that you know what will be happening to you in the near future. So just tell me do you want apples or bananas? I would send you oranges but it's the wrong time of year.  Grin Grin

All the best to ya

Relax everyone. It's only a flare gun used in boating. I don't have time to look up the exact model but here is one very similar. WWI vintage.
