Hi Homefire,
That sucks you had to get rid of it, I hope you
got a good price for it. espically these days the price of firearms are skyrocketing
I suggest for those who want to say for a rainy day, invest in old antique firearms, meaning those manufactured before 1898, also blackpowder firearms
that are reproductions. there are many auctions online where you can  find them
you just have to know what are the good sites. If I can be of any help just drop me a line. ,,,,Rob

Hi Homefire,
The the copy of the winchester by norinco is a nicly done copy,
I purchased one at a gun show when they first came out for 99.00 plus tax
of course. I did however find out the hard way that certain ammo will not chamber correctly  its usally shot shells and belive it or not I had a problem
using winchester slugs it would jam on the third round chambering in both shot and slugs. after fiddling around with the feed ramp I finally got it to chamber
right. Other than that there was no problem. And now these guns are just as expensive as say a mossburg 500 pump shotgun. Is this the gun you had to sell?
If so I hope you got a good price for it. Myself I like antique firearms and
black powder firearms. These guns are not only easy to obtain but fun to shoot
and build and restore. If you need any further Information on these just let me know. Best Wishes,,,,,Rob

Na!  Still have the 1897 .   No Problems with this one but It would have been better with a 3" chamber!
