Thats a great find, most of the ones Ive sen recently at my shop were on the 150-200 range, but yours in nice, reminds me of a group of rifle I purchased a few years back and after sorting thru them I found 2 death head mausers in the bunch. Amazing what people do have and not know about.

Hi sodi,
Sorry I havnt got back to you sooner, but have been sick for awhile, but am feeling alot better now.As far as these pistols being reliable. They were very relaible, but were only acurate for up to 50 feet or so depending on the ammo used....Rob

Great find TH01253.

I'm impressed with your firearms knowledge. I received an American Bulldog .44 cal When my Dad's Uncle died some years back. It looks kind of like yours.
Any Idea where I can get ammo for it or at least an old empty box of ammo for display? No .44 today fits.
Thanks and keep up the good work.

Pick up a copy of Shotgun News and visit the ads in the back. You'll find all manner of antique and remanufactured ammo there.

You'll probably never forgive me after you waste all that time reading it from cover to cover. Living in Oz, I miss some things like Shotgun News, United Parcel Services and good Mexican food.
