That is a very interesting pistol, and was quite common in the Japanese military before and during WW2.
It DOES have one interesting flaw, however.
When cocked and loaded, the pistol could be fired by pressure on the outside of the slide due to sear parts being exposed.
For this reason, it was rarely carried "ready"
