I have this hanging on my wall.  Its special because it belonged to my late father in law.  It has u.s. springfield stamped in the metal.  Other than that I know nothing about it.

Thanks!  I used to have it mounted on the fireplace like the old Davey Crocket era shows but I was afraid I'd knock it down so I moved it.
