Does any one  have the 12/10 butterfly coil on the  Fisher f70? If so does it ID deeper and have better target separation
than the stock coil? Thank you Fisherman

Hello fisherman,
I don't have the butterfly 12x10 coil, but it should give another 2-3 inches depth
on locations where there are few targets.  Detecting Detecting
It certainly wouldn't be good in trashy areas where many targets are close together. Thumbs Down
Stick with the stock coil till ya get used to the machine.  Great Great
We're thinking about staying with the stock coil for around a year to give us time to get to know our machines.  Fight Fight
I hope this is of some help to you.  Detecting Detecting

Dont buy them they are the worst out of all the brands, I've seen 2 1/2 boxes of them going to be scraped because they leak water because the cable nut is never tight from the factory , I spent 1600dollars buying 8 coils 4 were there's and they are not as sensitive at the front as they are at the back.
the only  1/2 good one is the 8x6 and that you can't bank on. why not ring fisher and see what they recomend. J
