Ok all you fellow Fisher users. I got a chance to trade my CZ70 Pro for a brand new Teknetics Omega 8000 with the 10 and 11 inch coils. I have to pay a little extra on it but my question is should I take the omega 8000 plunge?

Don't know anything about the CZ, but I love my Omega.

I don't know anything about your Fisher, but my Omega has never disappointed.  I have had it since April and have pulled a lot of coins out of the ground.  Have found rings, bracelets and earrings, nothing valuable, but I am going over some well searched areas.  I see people with way more expensive machines search an area, then I search it and find things.  I don't understand it.  Are they missing what I'm finding?...are they searching for something else?...they can't be bothered with coins?...or is it all just a random crapshoot?  Sometimes it's too good.  I can find every buried pipe, electrical line, etc...  I work a lot and don't get out much, so a quick hunt at a local park or school that has been gone over a million times is all I have time for some days.  I am never disappointed.  I don't have high expectations, I just want to dig some targets and take home some change.  I always do.  If that;s what you like, go for it.
