I love My 1236x2 but have been thinking about a cz.
 Maybe a cz3d or a cz5 because I like the analogue meter.
but for reasons of expense will more likely be cz5,cz6 or cz7/7A
I am not sure what is the difference though?
 Happy Hunting,Mont

Mont,
Go with the CZ 3d, get the 8" coil and the 5" coil, the 5" coil is deep.
The 3d will move old coins up in the high tone range, the CZ 5 is a good unit, but a V nickel will read as foil on the CZ 5, but on the 3d it will move the V nickel up into the high coins.
You may dig a little more trash with the 3d. but if you are hunting new coins only, then use the 3d in Salt mode....Run with Zero disc, you need tobe able to hear the low tones, like on a rusty nail,it will give a low tone and show iron, but when it comes off of the rusty nail it will jump to high tone and show as a high coin,,,,,now with iron notched out, all you will hear is the high tone and think its a coin. You get use to the sounds after a while.
I run my Sens at 4.5 and Vol at 5 and our ground will bal. out from 4.5 to 6.5, but most of the time, its on 5...
Hope this helps...HH...BJ
