I don't know a lot about the Fisher 1265x can somebody chime in here and tell me about it? One thing I would like to know is what would be a reasonable price to pay for one.

Thanks

Sean

They are good machines, especially for relic hunting, the do have discrimination i usually set the main dial to 4 the second dial to 7. This will let you pull the switch when you find a target and usually discriminate pull tabs or at least make a crackling sound. Push forward on the switch and you have a no motion pinpoint. $100.00-$150.00 is a good price. They are a deep searching detector, i found a BB once at about 10" , a little heavy compared to todays units but not bad. Have had one for twenty years so if you need more help feel free to contact me.

This one may well be in the $75 range, we'll see though.

well just bought a next to mint 1265x ,rare because it was near mint condition paid $ 280 for it ,but the average one runs $225---------------------??this one is a coin -killer hits very hard!!!the difference between a 1266x and a 1265x is the black face on the 1265x.1266x comes with a spider coil and the 1265x comes with a concentric solid coil.i give my 1266x an edge over my 1265x. Congrats on the score of a super condition 1265X, they are great machines as you already know.

I hope to see if the 1266X will hit hard this season on coins and jewlery, cant wait to get out swinging it...

Cheers,
Jim
