Was reading some report by a so-called expert?, he was saying that the F2 is not good for much but coin shooting--WOOOOOoo, i been using one from time to time for bout 8 months, (i have several other detectors), it is the least expensive of the bunch, but works quite well, it's light easy, simple to use, I don't use it a whole lot, but it is a nice outfit, so after reading this report from Mr Bigbucks, thought I would do some air tests, now they are not a true showing of ability, but are usually a decent indicator of what a detector will do, of course in the ground or wet soil they will all go deeper, here's what i got for a test, try it with whatever you have and see for yourself what your detector will do, it is interesting and enlightening, here you go=>8" coil and 75% sensitivity, no notching or discrimination/ seems to me it could be used for about anything
