Fisher now called "Fisher Labs". Their newest metal detector the F44 looks pretty impressive for the price which is around $349. to $399 us dollars .   Here is a short video I like from Youtube, not really a 100% field test but just some good information.  I hope there is not a commercial or ad on this one.
.
Someday I will find a way to extract the video from the stupid 1 minute commercials they have on some of the field test video's !!!

I think this Fisher F44 is a Great Machine for the money........Regards..............Eugene

Thanks Eugene.
I recently got a new F44, and I must say it is very impressive! Ive owned an F75, and an F5 and I think this machine is a nice combination of features, depth, speed, and user adjustability. Then throw in the weatherproof factor and its a win - win.  Ive found the build quality to be top notch, very sturdy.
So, far, Im really diggin it!

Fisher has some Great Metal Detectors on the Market . Fisher is part of 1st Texas a huge Metal Detector company that also includes Teknetics and Bounty Hunter. Last month before Christmas many of the Fisher and Teknetics Metal Detectors were sold out [out of stock] at a few of the big nation wide sporting good shops in the USA !! The Technology of their Metal Detectors is "Top Of the Line.  Their 5 year Warranty tells you it is a superb product and built tough.

Thanks for posting Kenny !!

Speaking of price Johnboy, here's my take.
I have spent way too much money on detectors costing over $1000. I'm finding that most all of the mid priced detectors perform just as well if not better than high end machines. It all boils down to how well you know your machine. I'm done spending that kind of money as it seems that the machines coming out now are great performers at a good mid level price.

You are right, Once you get into the mid price range Machines there is very little difference in depth and then the rest is down to if you need any of the things that are within the software.
