Hi to all , has anybody tried out the  fisher 11 inch dd coil ON THE F5 and is there any difference between it ,and the stock coil in depth and performance as I have seen no reviews of it as yet many thanks :Smiley

Just received the 11" DD coil and with tests i'm getting a completely different reading on most coins and bottle caps. Pull tabs are coming in at 40 to 42 and bottle caps are coming in at 70 to 76. The 10" original coil was much lower and more accurate, the 11" is much deeper, two to three inches deeper and picks up gold much better that the 10" coil. Any one out there having the same experience?

HI there the 11" coil is ment for the f4 as i remember and the 10" is for the f5 and the f70 and i think the frequencies are differant
so this may be why you are finding this problem, lay the detector down and set the coil at 90*deg to the floor then put a wooden
ruler or plastic one touching the coil and get some one to wave the coin at different depths and see if the meter matches the ruler
