I was online shopping and before I pushed the final button I decided to research on Fisher F5 . I want to make sure Fisher F5 is better than Teknetics Omega8000 . But the performance and depth may be identical ?  I will post some stuff on both of them. Fisher F5 is about $100. Dollars more than the Tecnitics Omega8000. And F5 must be good because I never see a used one for sale?  I will watch some youtuble field tests tonight on both of them. It sounds like the F5 might be real good machine for the money.     Regards.....Eugene

You know how claims go, Eugene. Every catalog description has the product in question being the best, fastest, deepest and so forth. Only a legitimate field test will reveal the truth of the matter.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

I also read very good reports on F5 .   The F5 vs. Teknetics Omega, performance is very close . The F5 picks up coins better in trashy areas [nails] and cost about a 100 dollars more .  I am still reading up on these two machines.

Regards............Eugene

When the F5 came out the F75 was having a few issues, but everyone wanted the F75 but I love the controls on the F5 and I think it is abetter machine in some respects.
