Hi All, I have a chance to pick up a used Fisher Gold strike. I think I can get it for around $200.00. I can even make payments to the seller for it...

I was wondering if anyone on this board owns one or has used one, and what you think of it...I don't think the price is bad, what do you guy's think? I have it for a few days to test out but with time restrictions and bad weather I'm not sure I'll really get a chance to try it out.

From what I've read some people really didn't like it compared to the gold bug models because it's so much different.

Anyway any input would be much appreciated! HH Freedom420

Hello Freedom420 . If it still works good $200.00 [us dollars] is a very good deal !! They listed new for $995.00 and came with a 10.5 inch elliptical search coil . It runs at 30khz and has better depth than the Fisher Gold bug which ran at 19 khz .  If it works good buy it !!  Great
Best Regards........Eugene
