Gold Bug M-60

Go Up Go Down

I tried to post this earlier and it didn't go.  So, I will try again.

I have a Fisher Gold Bug M-60 that I got back in 1982 and it has been in my shed for that long and never really used except to find a wedding ring in some grass and a set of keys.  I do not have the manual for this thing anymore and don't know really how to use it.  I am looking for someone that might have a copy of a manual for this unit.  I would like to take it out and give it a fair shake and see how good it is.  I do remember that it has different tones for the different types of metal such as iron and gold.  If anyone could tell me how good this thing is for finding gold or other objects would be highly appreciated.

Thanks for any info that you might be able to give to me.

Danny........also known as "Wile E. Coyote"

Hello Willy,

the Gold Bug is a rather easy to use machine. Just take it out to your backyard and do some playing around with it. Most important set the sens to a point where it runs stable and doesn't get noisy. Disc can bet set low as you will be hunting where no treasure is to be expected. If I come across a manual I will let you know.

Regards,

Christian
