Fisher M-Scope M-TR

Go Up Go Down

Hi,
I have an old Fisher M-Scope M-TR in a wooden case.
I need the operating manual or instruction on how to use it.
Also a wiring schematic would be nice.

Trying to use it to find buried electeical cable in earth and concrete.
It may be 120-240 volts, and inside a steel conduit about 2" diameter.

Earth cover has be removed to about 2' down and can see condiut. It goes into an 18" thick concrete wall and we have to drill some holes into the wall and don't want to hit the cable.

Any suggestions?

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Hey thanks for responding so quick.
Whats with the 15 postings before becoming a member?

What kind of postings?

I'll try the Fisher site. My first look didn't show my old model of course but I guess its worth an email  to see if they have one.

Cheers

Membership by participation is common in a lot of forums and this one is no exception. When you arrive at the minimum number of posts you will be granted access to download areas and other good things. Everyone here seems to really like seeing other folk's finds so a digital camera and an occasional topic in the Today's Finds forum makes it easy to reach 15. Just try and avoid doing the "Wow!" or "Nice finds!" type of posts. Be genuine, social and share your experiences and the minimum will be reached in no time at all.

Good luck on the Fisher manual. They'll no doubt have an archive somewhere of manuals but expect them to try and sell you the latest model as well. Just good business. Within the last 6 months, someone else was looking for that manual. Search the forums here and see if they reported success.

you can get a manual off the industrial section of the fisher website. to get the exact manual you may have to e=mail tech support, but any of the m scope manuals will allow you to use your detector for what you say you need.
hope this helps
