The CoinStrike is my favorite Fisher machine.   It's a little behind the times control wise even though its a 2002 machine, but it sure works good.

I really like it for searching the small places, like sidewalk strips or intense searches in small well defined areas.    Easy to set up to be stone cold stable anywhere and still get good id and depth.  Works great in the high mineralization that I have here.

What is your overall opinion of a Fisher CZ-5 ?  I am fairly experienced in THing.  I had a White's Coinmaster for many years, but am considering the CZ-5.  Is it a difficult machine to operate?  If you've not used a CZ-5, and not sure of the details, thanks for your time.

I've had a CZ-6a and have published a fieldtest on it here:

In short it is a high quality machine but should only be used together with a handprobe for pinpointing.

I have a CZ-5 and love it!  It goes deeper than anything I have in my ground.  Iron is the only problem and you can usually overcome that most of the time buy checking your signal both ways. (at 90 degree angle.)  I would highly recommend it.

I have had my CZ5 for  around 8 years and love it.         I wore a hole in the coil i have used it so much just ordered a new coil today.     I have found no problem pin pointing with it.    It can help to detune it when pin pointing shallow targets.
