I,m Thinking about buying  either a good used Teknetics Delta 4000 or used Minelab 305. I would like some input
on those detectors. I now use a  modified hipmount Fisher 1265 and really like it. I have that those can really be
hopped up by clipping a diode. Any thruth to that? Thank you Fisherman

Welcome to the forums from Australia.

You're asking for someone who has both to give you a comparison of their performance, one against the other. Then you come along and ask a third, unrelated question. It's no wonder there are no replies at the moment. Nobody is really sure what you want.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Not sure about the mod but the Minelab 305 is a good starter.  Just got one and really like it.
