Detecting For trade:  Ace 250 Sport Pack comes with both coils, the 6.5''x9'' ellipticall waterproof and the 9''x12'' ellipticall waterproof the and covers for both coils.  Treasure Sound Headphones.  Ace Environmental Cover-Up.  Garrett All Purpose Backpack.  How to find lost Treasure Book.  Instructional DVD Video.  4 AA Batteries.  Instruction Manual and the box it came in.  I have had this machine for 4 months and it is used but I have taken very good care of it, it has been cleaned and inspected after each use.

Wanted a manual ground balance machine, the higher the KHZ the better.

Let me know what you got to trade and I will post pics. Detecting

Before you give up on the Ace 250, read this. The Ace 250 does not automatically tune for changes in the ground conditions but it is not a pre-set ground balance either. When you first turn on your machine, it sets itself to localized conditions and that includes a "best guess" on ground balance. Garrett has a patent on this process. Once it is set, it can't be adjusted by any front panel adjustment but some people turn down the sensitivity a few notches. There is a better way.

When you sense drift because of noise in wet sand or from a change in your location, turn off your Ace 250 for about 10 seconds. Completely off. Then turn it back on again and it will self adjust to the local conditions where you are standing. Give it a try.

Thanks for that info.  I have droped the sens down 2 or more ticks at times and that dose help, sometimes, but I have not done the turn off, 10 secs, turn on move.  I will give that try.  It really is a good machine on coins and bling. Detecting

Does that work on other machines like my county hunter too?
