Xavier, That coil is tuned for all the whites machines that run between 7khz (6.2 khz to around 7.8khz) which would be great for depth than the coils that are tuned for 15khz, somewhere I have a list of all whites machines from way back right up to pressent day,
alot of the 80s 90s machines you could tune the detector frequency for you personal choice or if someone was near by you shift the Frequency so they would'nt upset your machine,

I cant make any promise's but I will try and find the document for you that lists all the coils and to what machine they apply to,

Xavier, heres a link to White's that lists all their coils, I will send you an email with a pdf list too,

I did have a full part number and coil listing but as you know things have changes just a touch, but I will try and see if I can get it for you,

Thanks mate do you know if they have a coil for a 14.5 Khz machine? I had a look at that link and I see that they have a coil 3 - 15Khz I'm not sure if I'm reading this right but it would seem that they say that it will work from 3 to 15Khz this being the case it could be a very versatile coil to have

Xavier, all of their 15khz coils will work as they are designed to work on the DFX and the V3i which are duel and triple frequency machines from around 3khz to 22.5 khz but if your machine has a boost control or high out put only buy the V rated coils as per V3i rated buecause you wont be able to run it flat out or near to it, and they are the same coils that run on the MXT's which run at about 14.7 khz,

White's make DD's and concentric coils, but their 12/300 concentric coil is sensitive enough to pick up the minerals in your hands and when turned up half way will find coins over a foot down in junk (iron) filled site with fairly high mineralization, and you will dig larger items very very deep, much deeper than most of us a prepared to dig,

hope this helps

happy new year,  AU

Yeh thanks AU. I like that concentric coils because I find it so much easier to pin-point with, but today when I took the new detector for a spin I found that in a very short time I was getting quite good at pinpointing with the DD coil. I still have a bit of effort to put into this detector but so far it really looks like it will be a great detector in fact it has been compared to the deuce and in depth they are almost the same.
