While I was out with a friend recently, reviewing some possible Clovis culture sites, I had the opportunity to grab a piece of primordial earth history!!!!!
These are
natural casts that were just laying there ready to be collected.
Once in a lifetime find of this nature.Seeing tracks is a pretty common event in this part of Texas, but picking them up and taking them home, never done that before.
Now the proud owner of one of five of these.
I got one because this site is on private property and the others went into another's collection.
These were just a few of the estimated hundreds there.
Most still under matrix.
We informed the property owner and are awaiting her response about having SMU or some other academic school to come and document this rare discovery.
In the mean time we got em, and we got to keep em!!!1
