Hm, maybe the side by the tracks may be effective. Some people threw coins onto the tracks so that they could get ran over by the train. The most common type was the 'Hobo' nickle, which at the time was a Buffalo nickle or possibly Jefferson nickel. If you search where the building used to be, you might be able to find some change there. Since the occupants inside would have more than likely dropped change that would slip in between the floorboards. That is, unless the building is still there.
