Yes Cornelius,
Those teeth were found offshore of North Carolina, south of Hatteras and a little south of a place there called Topsail.
There is also mention of finding Megaladon teeth in the blackwater (Rivers) all the way south to Savannah, Georgia.
I personally doubt I'll go there, but anyone interested might contact R Gecy off of Treasurenet to find out more info. He knows of one guy who charters dives specifically for these teeth. I think the video is from one of those charters.
By the way, did you give any thought to my other Question?

Well Cornelius,
They finally deleted my post on T'net regarding you. Big surprise, Huh?
Anyway, I questioned their reasoning for deleting my post and of course had to include an opinion or two. We'll see what they have to say...

Amen Teach  good morning to all,  now on the shark teeth in savannah ga.  yes they are here.  their is a guy and his wife do a little boat trips for people who are looking for them. they pay a small price to have them take them over to a river bank and let them off, its the only way their and walk up and down the shore and the recover the teeth sometimes they are their some not , depends on the tide and surf , ive seen some of the finds and they are good as a pic. , i have not been but never know maybe , i guess i work to much , and no play. its going to happen , i need a vacation  haha

Hi Aquanut and Cornelius, found this old thread and wanted to comment. I have been wanting to search for megladon teeth and finally got to do it for the first time. Went with a friend last weekend in Venice Florida. We did a shore entry dive swam out about 200 yards dove at a depth of 19 - 21 feet. My friend found one about 5 1/4 inches long and a bunch of small shark teeth on our first dive. I got skunked. On our second dive I found one about 3 1/2 .inches long. I was happy for that. We didn't find an abundance of teeth like you show in the pic you posted below, but I think if you go out after a hurricane in the gulf of Mexico you are likely to have better and more luck to find more of them. Kind of like treasure hunting and metal detecting after things get stirred up by wave action is a good time to get out there. Where ever you go wish you luck and hope you find some!!

Hey Conelius,
Don't you think it is strange that if you found a great archeology find like this tooth?. the Florida beach police or authorities will either take it or fine you for having it in your possession... oh no that will not happen?you can take that home? no problem? LoL.. You know what I mean.. these nice museum quality megaladon teeth you could actually sell make a large profit... but if you try to take or sell a coin fifty years or older you are looking at heavy fines and a misdemeanor..... Archeologist...damn... they found a legal way to get rich and take our finds.......
