Burial areas are taboo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The sex stone you have pictured is nothing but a stone!
It has no entry indications nor is it the type.
Stoney meteorites rarely make it through the atmosphere.
Almost all stoney meteorites on record have come from Antarctica.
I feel you have desicrated an area our forefathers and a lot of us here and other treasure sites consider sacred!
If you have any concience you will beg forgivness and bury it back from whence it came.
Conclusion it is nothing more than a "FRIKKIN ROCK".

How about not a moon rock.

The few pieces of moon rock on earth have been found near the arctic circle. Those samples came to earth when the moon was bombarded by a meteorite shower that created the face of the moon as we know it. There is nothing in your pictures to suggest that this is a moon rock, except wishful thinking on your part.   I would recommend you watch a few episodes of Meteorite Men to get an idea of how meteorites actually operate.

Here is a link to ebay for a quick study.. You will see what you have looks nothing like certified  moon meteorites.

Landshark, no offence meant, but not all of our members live in countries where they have access to the science channel and the show Meteorite Men.  Since Kas lives in Jordan, he may not be able to get the program.    For those that are able to watch the show, though, I agree with you that it is worth the viewing.  Thanks for the eBay link also...

Kas, The color of stone looks like moonstone gem, but still without play of light. Can you test this stone for hardness?
I know that moonstone's hardness is 6-6.5 by Mohs scale.
First take a piece of glass and scratch the stone. The glass hardness is 5-5.5 .
Glass can't scratch a moonstone, and on the contrary moonstone can scratch a glass.

Kas,

I don't think they are moon rocks. There is a picture of a moon rock on this site

Kas, sorry, I mean a gemstone, named moonstone, not a meteorite. After cutting and polishing this beautiful gemstone used in jewelry. Smiley

This stone looks like sedimentary rock. Unfortunately there are no sedimentary rocks or minerals on the moon. There is also no fusion crust for it having travelled through our atmosphere.
