Go Up Go Down

I love history, geology, paleontology, archeology, and anything the has to do with the past. i live near morgan utah that is just rich anf full of pioneer history and was hiking around in Echo canyon that is packed with history looking for telgraph line insulators, and stumbled across on a large rock with excellent leaf fossils on top of it.  they were about six inches in length and two to two and a half inches in width at their widest point.  i pulled out my rock pick hammer and carefully took the rock apart, and found numerous perfectly preserved dark brown leaf fossils inside.

The find was incredible, and am planning another trip back up there as soon as the rain stops.  I will post pictures as soon as i get the chance
