This is a crystallized type of rock that I do not know what it is. Any Ideas?
It came from a collection of my grandmothers and not sure where she got it, I think it was some where in the mid-west, she lived in Illinois.

Anyway of magnifying some of the crystals and letting us see them?   It would help get you answers.

It's a rock on the ground, it's a specimen when you take it home.

Pumice? from a lava flow.
It is basically obsidian with air bubbles throughout.
It should be relativily light compared to it's size.

I thought that it might be some kind of pumice and it is very light for the size.
