Have you ever found a paradoxical element in direct context with a strata that you are absolutely sure has not been disturbed?
Here's a stone that looks like it is a deer footprint in flint!
I know that it is not, but I think that the person who picked it up some 3000 YBP and kept it thought the same thing. It was never used as anything tool or otherwise.

I found it while digging at a "Pay to dig"  (8 feet deep) site near Acton Texas.
The stone has a "polish" common with tumbling in a stream or river.
BTW: I found 4 points that day the best being a Gary point.
